Alexander to Jaguars for Dennis Northcutt

According to John Clayton of ESPN.com, the Lions have traded safety Gerald Alexander to the Jaguars for veteran WR Dennis Nortcutt. Northcutt should be in the mix at slot WR, with Derrick Williams, Ronald Curry, and others. Northcutt does have return experience, though it's unknown if the Lions plan to try him out at that spot.
