Lions sign veteran OT Ephraim Salaam

Nicholas Cotsonika at Freep.com reports the signing. Salaam, 32, is a 12-year NFL veteran who last played for the Houston Texans. He's massive: 6-7, 310 lbs. He didn't start for the Texans last year, but did play in 13 games, according to NFL.com. Salaam started all 16 games in 2007. Talk about it in The Den.
